After the sunglasses, goggles and backpacks, Electric continues to offer the pride to wear their great logo and killer name on shirts, jackets, beanies, hats and clothing accessories. Just recently, in the 2012 Agenda show in Long Beach CA, last January 12-13, Electric debuted their Fall 2012 Soft-good and Accessory line with a “Factory Blue” tag line.
Electric was a major hit when they moved into bags and backpacks two years ago. The excellent quality and varying designs and patterns that were offered had led to their products topping in several stores. Co-President Bruce Beach however says that Electric has no plan to go full-throttle with the apparels as it is only to help promote its brand.
As far as design is concern, the apparels are inspired by older styles, with the workwear and vintage Americana vibe. Electric Soft Goods Design Production Manager Matt Brodrick, who spent a year and a half at Volcom to learn about everything on clothing, had needed only to update the designs with modern fits and fabrics.
More people are getting involved in the Electric soft goods department. Such growth can only forecast a greater demands for the Electric soft goods in the market. For the fair price of a windbreaker for $55, a down jacket for $220, and wovens from $50 to $65, these new product line is sure it to make it big starting this 2012.
