XD stands for “Crossover Design,” and the Arai XD3 Helmet crosses over into a variety of riding styles. Whether you are adventure touring, dual-sport riding, competing in Supermoto, commuting, or street riding, the XD3 bridges all the gaps. The Arai XD3 has the look and features of a dirt helmet but includes a faceshield like a street helmet. The shield and peak (also known as a visor) are easy to remove and can be just as easily re-installed. The highly functional Arai XD3 is perfect for the jack of all trades.
The Arai XD’3 Solid Full Face Helmet is equipped with twin-cam Shield Pivot System allows the face shield to operate fully under a peak that can be lowered for better aerodynamics. It can be configured with shield and peak, peak only(for use with goggles) or shield only, making it one of the most versatile Dirt Bike & ATV Riding helmets on the market. Features Fully Removable/Replaceable and washable liner with optional sizes available for a custom fit. 4 top vents, Dual Intake / Dual Exhaust Ventilation–dual I/C top intake vents and Double Delta bridged exhaust vents designed to draw significant volumes of air from helmet interior. CLC (Complex Laminate Construction) shell–fiberglass composite is stronger and lighter–allows use of softer, less-dense liner materials inside for increased rider comfort. Efficient chin bar vent (with interior and exterior controls) flows fresh air to the mouth area or across the shield interior to help prevent fogging. Large chin bar side exhaust vents draw out additional air.
